Burnsville is located about six miles to the west of our cabin on Route 19E.  We do most of our shopping in Burnsville and attend events at the Town Center.

Burnsville was named for Captain Otway Burns who was a famous privateer during the War of 1812.

Ingles is an outstanding grocery chain in North Carolina

The ACE Heritage Building Supply is the sourse of lumber and hardware for contractors and regular folks

The United Community Bank actually makes loans. Bo's Mine Tours has abusines account here.

Mountain people waste nothing. Recycling centers are in every town. Flea markets are everywhere as used goods are handed down to other families!
