This is my daughter Heather, her husband David, and their sons, Austin and Hadden (my grandsons). Heather graduated from The University of Florida with a degree in Math and got her Masters in Statistics from Florida State University. Heather is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics at The California Polytechnic Institute (Cal Poly) in California. David received his PhD from Stanford in statistics. He works for WESTAT, a Wahington, D.C. statistics consulting firm and does his work via the internet, FedEx, and e-mail from their home in San Luis Obisbo, California.

Heather and David's first child (my first grand daughter), Logan Sumner Wright was born on September 2nd, 1994. She died of respiratory failure shortly after her birth. David, Heather, Austin, and Hadden visit her grave in Toronto, Canada as often as they can. |

Heather flew in to Jacksonville on Thursday, October 7th and we went to the Florida/LSU game on Saturday the 11th. The Gtor offense was non existant and they lost their second game of the season. We had a great time at "the swamp" anyway! |

This is
my daughter
Laura and her husband Steve Voorhies. Steve and Laura met in
Austin
Texas when Laura was completing her Doctorate in Journalism at the
University
of Texas. After a couple of years in Columbia, South Carolina where
Laura
was teaching and conducting research at the University of South
Carolina,
they returned to Austin, Texas.
Eliza Emerson Voorhies was born December 12th, 2006. After taking a couple of years to bond with Eliza and get her off to a good start, Laura returned to the classroom this August, 2009. |

Laura flew in to Jacksonville the weekend of September 25th. She spent the weekend at Goldhead State Park with her mom and the Terrells. I drove down and we went to Gainesville for the Kentucky game. We had a great time at "the swamp"! |

Stacy received her BA in Sociology from Jacksonville University and her Masters in Educational Technology at The University of Florida. She manages a design team for online courses and faculty technology support at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Jed is a very talented architectural designer. Currently, he is a stay at home dad for Oliver but does some work at home. Jed hopes to return to school in the fall. |

Jessica graduated from The Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville in 2001. In 2002, she was a trainee as a graduate student at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School. The next year, she returned to Jacksonville and resumed teaching and performing ballet as a member of the The Florida Ballet. Jessica graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in business management in December 2006. After she stopped dancing, Jesssica worked for Wachovia and Smith Barny as a financial mangement specialist. She became engaged to Tom Scangarello in 2010. Shortly after their engegement, they decided to move to the shore in southern New Jersey and run Tom's parents' landscaping business. Jessica is the Office Manager and Tom supervises field operations. Tom and Jessica were married in St. Augustine, Florida January 29th, 2011. |

This is Lindsay in her prom dress. Beautiful, isn't she! She graduated from Fletcher High School in May, 2003. Since then she has attended Florida Community College in Jacksonville (FCCJ) on several ocassions while working in various jobs. She moved to Tampa for a short while in 2010 but is now back in Jacksonville looking for work while living with her mom. |
